The Jazz Fest Brass Pass Policy

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has released the new procedures for Brass Pass entrance.

* NEW! The Brass Pass is now fully transferable! A different person can use the pass each day of the Fest. There will be no ID checks and anyone you choose can use your pass for a day. (Only one person per day)

* You can enter and exit through any of the public pedestrian gates

* You can come and go as you please throughout the day

* Access to the WWOZ Hospitality Tent, featuring fresh fruit, iced coffee, tables & chairs, misters and separate bathrooms

* The Brass Pass is a laminate pass this year, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of tickets or protecting it from the rain

If you need any additional information, please let us know. Thanks.

1. Tickets are day/date specific. Please make sure you bring the correct ticket with you to the Fairgrounds on the day(s) you attend.

2. You can enter through any public pedestrian gate (Sauvage, Gentilly or Trafalgar), ride the Jazz Fest Express, or use the Accessible car gate (with proper placard, $50 fee, very limited parking).

3. The Brass Pass special lines are located at the Sauvage and Gentilly gates. You can enter through these special lines if you wish, but it is not mandatory.

4. You will receive your wristband to re-enter the festival upon exit only at the Sauvage, Gentilly, Trafalgar & Jazz Fest Express gates. Please present your ticket to scanner personnel; they will punch your ticket and you will receive your wristband. There will be no vehicular in and out from the Accessible parking lot/gate.

5. When you re-enter the festival please show scanning personnel your day/date specific punched ticket and wristband.

6. If in the event you have any trouble with your tickets, you can go to any ticket selling booth supervisor and they will be able to accommodate you.

7. WWOZ Will Call is located at the Sauvage Street entrance and may also be picked up from the ticket booth at the Jazz Fest Express lot.

8. These changes were put into place to get you into the festival faster and for you to have a better festival experience with little or no delays.

9. Your Brass Pass is required for entrance into the WWOZ Hospitality Tent. The pass holder may bring in one other person per day. Children under 12, the elderly, and the disabled are also allowed in with a member.

If you have any comments or feedback about these new policies, please send an email to membership@wwoz.org.
