Program: Jazz from the Market with Jelly Roll Justice

Roberto Carcasses, the fantastic Havana pianist, joined us in studio to talk about his work, the group "Interactivo", and his show this Friday night at Snug Harbor (8 and 10).  His father, Bobby Carcasses is a legend in latin jazz, and the humble and brilliant son carries the tradition and then-some, with innovative and diverse explorations --- melding New Orleans, Cuban and other currents beautifully.
